The HTS Series screw type hydraulic quick coupling is designed to connect hydraulic pumps, cylinders and high-pressure tools while providing a controlled passage for hydraulic fluid. Rated for 70 MPa (700 bar) and compliant with ISO 14540, this high pressure quick release coupling uses a threaded locking mechanism to maintain a secure connection in hydraulic circuits exposed to pressure impulses and demanding operating conditions. The screw-on quick release coupling is available with poppet or ball valves and BSP or NPT ports, and supports connection with residual pressure up to 100 bar.

During connection, the male and female halves are aligned and tightened through the threaded sleeve. As this screw-to-connect coupling is fully engaged, the internal valves open and create a continuous flow passage. Hydraulic fluid can then move from the power unit or pump to the connected cylinder, jack or hydraulic tool.
The threaded locking structure helps the high pressure quick release coupling remain securely connected under high working pressure, vibration and pressure impulses. When the coupling is unscrewed, the valves close again to isolate the hydraulic circuit and minimize fluid loss.
